Cozy Wonton Soup

It’s halfway through January. You’re back on campus, everyone’s lights are down, and the leftover turkey from break has long run out. But with the holiday season goes any tolerance for cold weather. Now you’re standing outside, shivering, waiting for a bus that comes every 20 minutes. You’re hands are still freezing despite the gloves and starting to itch because the cold air has flared up your eczema. But despite the shivering, you’re actually sweating beneath the three layers that you’ll be taking on and off with every class and meeting. After finally making it back home, you fumble for the keys to the door. You're waiting, internally screaming, for that first wave of warm air. But now that you’ve made it, you need something to warm your bones too. Not just a heater, but something that makes you feel cozy. This, ladies and gentlemen, is soup season. And if you're craving something to sip and enjoy under a warm blanket and book in your lap, this is the recipe for you.
