Q: What are your favorite foods?
Pasta, Potatoes, Tacos, and Oreos. My favorite potato dish is roasted potatoes. Spaghetti Marina with meat sauce is my go-to pasta. Milk chocolate Oreos are the best flavor. And Birria tacos are my favorite style.

Q: What are some of your hobbies
besides cooking?
I love reading, writing, sewing, and being outdoors. Creating something makes me feel my best.

Q: What's your weirdest food combo?
Cucumbers and mustard. I can’t remember how I first tried this combination but I’ve been addicted ever since. I’ll eat cucumbers with mustard before I eat them with salad dressing sometimes.
Q: Do you have
any pets?
None living, but I did have a blue beta fish when I was a kid. I got him at a birthday party and he lived way longer than their species usually does. My parents attended the funeral service in my bathroom before we flushed him.

Q: You can only eat one cuisine forever. What would it be?
Italian food for sure. Mexican cuisine is a close second, but I can't live without pasta. I also love how Italian cuisine utilizes fresh ingredients. One day, I'd love to go to Italy.

Q: Where do you find new recipes?
I mostly try recipes from Pinterest. However, to decrease my screen time, I’m turning towards more physical recipe books from the library. But sometimes, I just wing it and make something from the ingredients in my fridge.

Q: What is your most Boomer take?
It really is that damn phone. Sometimes I feel like my life is passing me by while I'm on my phone. And yet, if I’m not on my phone or social media, I feel like I lose access to the world and my friends.

Q: Sweet or Savory?
I always prefer eating sweets. I have a serious chocolate addiction. However, I will always choose cooking savory over sweet. For the most part, I leave deserts to the professionals.

Q: What's the dumbest way you've been hurt?
I was trying to log back into Twitter (I refuse to call it “X”) and wasn’t looking where I was going. Cue a fall down the stairs and sprained ligaments in my foot. It was embarrassing, dumb, and further proof that I don’t need to be on that app.

Q: Do you believe in following recipes exactly or freestyling?
I am a freestyler, which is why I don’t bake. I believe in eyeballing, tweaking, and adding twice as much garlic as the recipe says.
Q: What does the best version of yourself
look like?
The best version of myself gets outside and moves every day. She doesn’t wait for other people to do stuff with and doesn’t procrastinate. She spends more time writing and reading than scrolling. She also gets to bed at a decent time and cooks most of her meals at home (which means she has more in her bank account).
